These saws were built under the King-Seeley badge (early years of 1955 to circa 1960) then under Sears, Roebuck and Co. CRAFTSMAN (later years of 1960 to 1966). The "guts" under the top were nearly identical with just a few exceptions, most notably the arbor. The cabinets on the early years were welded on the corner seams and rear panels. The later models had welded corners with the upper rear panel affixed with six screws. The gauge of the metal appears to be slightly beefier on the early models. The feet are identical, with optional rear casters as a way to roll the unit around.
