reversable

3 phase motors may be made reversible simply by exchanging any two of the three Hot lines entering the motor. In this diagram, L1 and L2 are being interchanged when the Reversing relay is energized. This circuit would typically be used on a door control, etc. Not suitable for most cutting machines as the cutters are designed to turn in one direction only.
