Reproduction Parts
This is a reproduction of the original Walker Turner Table Tilt Bracket that so often is broken, repaired or otherwise discussed. The original design is weak due to the very large moment arm from the handle crank to the cantilevered bracket attachment bolts. This Tilt Bracket improves on the original design by adding another 3/8" bolt for attaching the bracket to the frame of the saw. Most WT 16" saws have the boss that is used for this and one only needs to drill and tap for the 3/8" bolt. The drawing below is very basic and only illustrates the piece part dimensions and the final weldment assembly. A fixture consisting of a 1/4" plate with the three( 3/8") holes was used to position all parts for welding. The bracket shown in the pictures was welded with a 175 amp MIG welder and all joints were heavily chamfered to ensure good penetration of the weld. ===pdf Drawing Link=== [{UP}wt_table_tilt_brkt.pdf|WT Bandsaw Table Tilt Bracket] ===Some Pictures of the finished product installed=== [imageright|WT BS Table Tilt Brkt Install 1|{UP}wt%20tilt%20table%20brkt%20iso.jpg] [imageright|WT BS Table Tilt Brkt Install 2|{UP}wt%20Tilt%20Brkt%20Side.jpg] [imageright|WT BS Table Tilt Brkt Install 3|{UP}wt%20table%20brkt%20fwd.jpg]
